The Guide of Yester
Looks the same as yester, nothing new,
The same cuts across my open eyes,
Time bent a blazing fire into two,
One Fire of Earth, another’s of the sky,
A talk I can’t have, but know I need,
A cold wind took off with part of me,
You’re somewhere there, I feel your voice,
Guide me towards the right, just choice.
Sounds the same as yester, its been told,
The same wounds, my wailing ears are bound,
God called you home, a pure place for the bold
Without my goodbye as your final earthly sound.
A talk I can’t have, but know I need,
A cold wind took off with part of me,
You’re somewhere there, I feel your voice,
Guide me towards the right, just choice.
Feels the same as yester, been a week maybe more,
The same holes haunt my tired wounded heart,
Each beat drags with it another dark lonely sore,
A one-soul embrace breaks my whole world apart.
A talk I can’t have, but know I need,
A cold wind took off with part of me,
You’re somewhere there, I feel your voice,
Guide me towards the right, just choice.
